We left Hossegor and reached Somo, in order to prepare the contest. Me, Didier, Angelo, Harry, Charly, Andy and William were hosted by SurfToLive surf-house, and easily walked to the spot everyday. Angelo got 5th and William 3rd, so I can say I am more than stoked on the team.
Tomorrow I will have to fly back to Italy for ten days, but soon news will come and pics from those days as well.
I had the chance to shoot for Volcom at the VQS Finals in Anglet, during my shooting in France. The event was really cool and well organized, something that would be really great to have also in our lazy country ( I say still our but is day by day less mine). Today we are going to shoot and then on our way to Santander for the Pro Junior.
Spring comes with a lot of news, adventures and tasks. After Senales we headed to Milano and Genova to start working on an exciting project. We had a super nice day there, and we worked really hard: at the end of the day I was really tired, so I packed my stuff and went back to Milan. Now I will stay here with my family for Easter and the same day I will reach Angelo Bonomelli in Tuscany, then on monday we will flight to Santander.
What a weekend we had in Senales: 5th F-Tech shooting... Friends, perfect park and sun were the perfect ingredients for this magic recipe. As always F-Tech crew did an amazing job, preparing nice snow structures and amazing bbq. I was there with Nike 6.0 Italian team, Manuel Pietropoli and Simon Gruber, and was really fun also to have Ethan Morgan and Peter Konig with us. You will see more on Snowboard Mag of next season and also in next Isenseven movie coming this autumn.

Blog is going to change a bit, is going to be back to its roots cause after loosing myself for such a long time, I am able to share again some ideas. Basically a lot of changes, a new yesterday is on my mind. As photographer, if I can call my self like this, I will increase my activity and soon I will be on the road with Angelo Bonomelli again. We will travel as well with Roberto D'Amico and the other friends like Harry Timson and Miles Lee-Heargraves ( that won my first missed cover, and thanks bro for not grabbing this air )... joking Miles!!! (almost)

Non lo so bene, non lo capisco. Non lo capirò mai fino in fondo il motivo di tutte queste cose, ma sopratutto non capirò mai bene le regole che le persone nei silenzi si sono create. Non capirò mai davvero perchè ci si lamenti di cosa succede alle nostre tradizioni, quando alla fine siamo i primi ad accantonarle, a screditarle, a volerle dimenticare. Negare il posto da cui vieni, le cose che ti hanno fatto diventare quello che sei, è come suicidarsi: non togliersi la vita, ma togliersi la parte che ci ha reso vivi. Sopratutto nei casi in cui, il nostro passato non sia stato colmo di episodi negativi, ed anche ci siano stati bisognerebbe ringraziare chi con i suoi gesti si è fatto scudo, divenendo bersaglio in prima persona. Non credo ti costasse poi molto fermarti un pò di più quel giorno, dimostrare un minimo di interesse.. ma la cosa che davvero ha provocato più dispiacere è stato quello negare la tua radice.. una tradizione a cui sai bene quanto ci si tenga. Il non capire, legato poi ai risultati di ogni gesto, mi ha fatto decidere di passare il momento del cambiamento data, dove da anni ed anni quel che mi resta del mio passato respira, regalando a chi ha sempre difeso la bandiera del castello, un sorriso.
Ho sentito la gioia nelle tue parole e nell'intonazione della tua voce per quell'acquisto che ci lega ancora, per quelle voglie e quei sogni che reprimi in ogni tuo attimo... questo fine alla fine dello scorso anno. Da allora, più giunto niente... Ma forse proprio perchè era lo scorso anno... e forse perchè molti cancellano le cose girando quel foglio che rappresenta un mese, ma che per me rappresenta la sintesi di una esistenza.
